Since this year June , after Huanghua International airport of Changsha opened the flight to Frankfurt, our province will oper the second flight across the transcontinental. Acoording to the Hunan Airport Management Group, the flight from Changsha to Los Angeles will be opened by December 28th this year,. This is also the first direct flight to American Continent.
As the introduction of Liu ZhiRen who is the general manager of the Hunan Airport Management Group, the flight direct to America will be Changsha—Anchorage(Stop)—Los Angeles. Operated by America Dynamic Airways, whole journey is about 14 hours.
Liu ZhiRen says, in the beginning of the operataion, plan to start the round-trip flight 3 times a week, slack season will be 2 times a week. Initial airplane type will be Boeing 767, able to carry more than 200 passengers, but the price has not been published.
According to another disclose, our province will open up another international flight route, predicted the flight from Changsha to Osaka will be opened by the end of this year.
